The Matsubara Hotel is located in an area with 1.750 meters of altitude, in the climatic tourist resort of Campos do Jordão. Besides all traditional events, concerts and sports activities held during winter, the city is also a quality option for a summer escape.

The main access to Campos do Jordão is Highway Floriano Rodrigues Pinheiro (SP-123), which begins in the intersection with Highway Carvalho Pinto/Ayrton Senna, near km 310 in Highway Presidente Dutra.

A different way is the traditional access by train, which may be taken in Railway Campos do Jordão, departing from Pindamonhangaba.
